"Dr. Kelley, While it's still so soon after seeing you yesterday, I just have to report back in to you....I left your office yesterday and while walking to my car, I had the physical sensation I was walking on clouds. On the drive from the Island to Bluffton for my Pilates session, I just couldn't stop smiling, yet I couldn't pinpoint one particular reason. Then, I had my Pilates session and felt the best - physically - that I've felt in weeks. Finally, this morning, I woke up with a greater sense of clarity and my back is still feeling better than it has for a while.
I know we only just had the session yesterday and there is likely more for me to process, but I just had to tell you that whatever our session entailed, my mind and physical self is responding favorably so far. "This was my first visit to Dr Kelley as I live in France but I am very familiar with chiropractors as I have one in Paris I go to once a month This was also my first time with the activator, which is both gentle and effective. Dr Kelley took time to touch skin and joints/muscles before using it, explaining the problem she encountered, and the strength applied with the activator. I had quite complex issues, ranging from postural to visceral (I had had severe colon pains and a recent gallbladdeer surgery) and I loved that she was knowledgeable in different techniques (the activator, Logan basics ) and she massaged also the painful abdomen spot which had to do with possible adherence in a very efficient way. When I left after an appointment of 1 hour and a half I felt really liberated, my mind was clear and focused and I felt energetic and my old self, which I had not been feeling for months. One day after I can feel some sore spots due to treatment but which are entirely normal as the body "digests" the new information of having been touched. I also love the thoughtful, very sensitive approach of Dr Kelley who is not only a top notch professional obviously competent in many state of the art chiropractic techniques (which we do not have in France!) but also giving some personal advice and examples which make you feel understood and safe in expert hands. Of course I chose her after reading her information on her website as I would never go to a chiropractor who practices "cracking" which according to me is both a violent and very limited, non holistic approach. I have postural problems, a patellar alignment problem but I also think that visceral problems (colon, constipation, abdominal surgery scar issues- old and new-) can very effectively treated by a competent chiropractor. I will definitely see her two other times and keep utilizing her services while I am in HHI until December. She also gave me sound advice on diet and nutrition according to my blood type, recommended Yoga sandals for arch problems and recommended that I should also have scar therapy and reflexology.
