Because these chemicals are found in products you use every day, you are exposed to many endocrine disruptors at the same time. Effects include interference with fetal and child development. In adolescent and adult women hormone disruption may result in gynecological problems such as uterine fibroids, reduced fertility, anxiety/depression and breast cancer. Top chemicals to avoid: 1.) Parabens are preservatives used in many personal care products including lotions, shampoos, makeup and personal wipes. 2.) Phthalates and Bysphenol (BPA) which are used in the production of plastics. 3.) Many pollutants are endocrine disruptors. Just to add - "Phthalates which are in plastics" are also in that shiny coating on tablets that make them so easy to swallow Studies in rats have shown effects on developing fetuses, albeit at X90 times regular human doses. We don't recommend young women avoid such tablets, but its food for thought..
